The heating season in Ukraine has been shifted: heat will be supplied from November to March

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has clarified the terms of the off- and on-season heating periods within the Regulation on Special Obligations of Natural Gas Market Participants. According to CMU Resolution No. 1267, the heating season will last from November 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 1267 dated 08.10.2025 “On Amendments to Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 812 dated July 19, 2022” (hereinafter – Resolution No. 1267).
Thus, Resolution No. 1267 amended Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 812 dated 19.07.2022 “On Approval of the Regulation on the Imposition of Special Obligations on Natural Gas Market Participants to Ensure Public Interests in the Functioning of the Natural Gas Market Regarding the Peculiarities of Natural Gas Supply to Heat Producers and Budgetary Institutions”.
A number of dates have been clarified in the Regulation on Imposing Special Obligations on Natural Gas Market Participants to Ensure Public Interests in the Process of Natural Gas Market Functioning Regarding Peculiarities of Natural Gas Supply to Heat Producers and Budgetary Institutions (hereinafter – the Regulation).
In particular, in the Annex to the Regulation, the third paragraph of subparagraph 1 of paragraph 1, after the words and figures “from May 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025 (inter-heating period)” is supplemented with words and figures:
from November 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 (heating period).
Previously, the heating period was from October 15 to April 15.
