Oschadbank has reported temporary disruptions affecting cards, ATMs, and payments: what we know

Oschadbank has warned customers of possible temporary disruptions to some of its services during the night of April 11–12, 2026. The disruption is due to scheduled maintenance work being carried out to update the system. The bank emphasized that the restrictions will be temporary, and once the work is complete, all services will be fully operational, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"

When disruptions are possible at Oschadbank

The bank’s announcement states that the technical work will take place overnight—from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on April 12, 2026. During this period, temporary delays or failures in certain operations are possible.

This is a scheduled system update intended to improve the stability, reliability, and functionality of banking services.

Which operations may be affected

Oschadbank clarified that temporary disruptions may affect several areas of customer service at once.

Possible restrictions include:

  • bank card transactions;
  • ATM operations;
  • POS terminal operations;
  • transactions in the Mobile Oschad and OschadPAY apps;
  • online payments.

This means that during the specified nighttime period, some payments or services may experience delays or be temporarily unavailable.

Why is the bank conducting technical maintenance?

Oschadbank explained that this work is necessary to update the system. According to the bank, the purpose of the technical downtime is to improve the stability and reliability of services, as well as to introduce new features for customer convenience.

Thus, this is not an emergency situation, but a planned technical update intended to improve the performance of the banking infrastructure in the future.

When all services will be fully operational again

The bank emphasized that after 6:00 a.m. on April 12, all services should be fully operational. Starting at that time, Oschadbank expects the full restoration of standard operations for card transactions, ATMs, terminals, and digital services.

What customers should do

Given the planned technical work, Oschadbank customers should plan ahead for nighttime restrictions, especially if they plan to:

  • withdrawing cash from an ATM;
  • card payments;
  • online purchases;
  • transfers via mobile apps;
  • payments via OschadPAY.

It is best to complete important financial transactions before the maintenance window begins or postpone them until after 6:00 a.m.
