Educational rating of regions: results of NMT-2025

The ranking of Ukrainian regions based on the results of the National Multisubject Test (NMT) 2025 has been published. Lviv region is at the top of the list. This is reported by the educational information resource “Osvita.ua”, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs
The study used data from school graduates who took the NMT this year. The test included Ukrainian language, mathematics, history of Ukraine and one subject of choice. The testing was conducted in the format of a computer-based exam with closed-response questions.
Despite the difficult wartime conditions, when most regions were under constant threat of missile and drone attacks, the testing took place on time. The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment reported that all participants received their results.
At the same time, some students were forced to leave their regions and continue their education online or abroad due to the fighting. In this regard, the compilers of the rating emphasize that it is incorrect to draw conclusions about the work of individual schools or teachers based on the average results of students.
The regions in the ranking are arranged according to the average score scored by graduates at the NMT-2025. Graduates of previous years who also took the test this year were not included in the overall calculation.
This ranking allows us to track the general trend in educational achievements in different regions and can be a useful guide for educators, parents, and graduates themselves.
