Ice, sleet and a sharp temperature drop: weather forecast for November 22

On November 22-23, Ukraine will be hit by another cyclone that will bring precipitation, ice and difficult road conditions. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to Didenko, the most difficult weather will be in the western regions. There, a cyclone with atmospheric fronts will cause
- sleet and snow
- wet snow sticking to the ground
- ice on the roads.
In some places, the precipitation will be intense, and the conditions will be dangerous for vehicles and utilities.
Weather in other regions
North – rains will prevail.
The center – in some places it will rain.
South and East – no precipitation.
The temperature will be very contrasting
This weekend, several “climatic regimes” will be recorded across Ukraine.
West: 1…4 in the afternoon, with a slight frost in some places.
North: Saturday – 5… 7, Sunday – 3… 6
Center: 6… 8
Other regions – up to 11… 16
East: 13… 17
South: 15… 20

Warnings from the State Emergency Service and the Ukrainian Weather Center
Rescuers have already warned of difficult weather conditions from November 21 to 23. In a number of regions, they are expected to be
- fog
- wet snow
- ice cover
- heavy precipitation in Zakarpattia, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions
- heavy wet snow in the Carpathians.
Hazard levels:
- yellow – in most western regions
- orange – in the highlands of the Carpathians.
Such conditions could complicate the work of power and utility companies and lead to delays in traffic, especially on the passes.
According to the Ukrainian Weather Center, today, November 22, the weather will be shaped by atmospheric fronts.
In particular, rain with transition to snow, slush build-up, ice, and ice cover are expected in the western regions, with heavy precipitation in Lviv, Zakarpattia, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions and heavy sleet in the Carpathians.
Temperatures will range from 3° below zero to 2° above zero throughout the day.
In the rest of the territory, except for the southeastern part, there will be light, moderate rains at night and moderate rains during the day; the temperature at night will be within 6. 11°, during the day the air will warm up to 13-18°, in the Crimea up to 21°, in the northern and Vinnytsia regions at night 1-6°, during the day the thermometer will reach 5-10°.
Please also note that there will be fog at night and in the morning in most of the northern, Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions.
