Sandu’s party has been allocated a majority of seats in parliament

The Action and Solidarity Party (PDS), founded by Moldovan President Maia Sandu, will receive 55 seats out of 101 in the parliament. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Central Election Commission, which made this decision.

The distribution of mandates must be confirmed by the Constitutional Court.

The Patriotic Bloc, formed around the Socialist Party, will receive 26 seats, the bloc of pro-European parties Alternative – 8, Our Party and Democracy at Home – 6 seats each.

As a reminder, parliamentary elections were held in Moldova on September 28, 2025. Citizens elected 101 deputies for 4 years.
