Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Kyiv plans to finalize the date of a potential visit to Ukraine by an American delegation after the Easter holidays. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine , according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The visit in question involves Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
According to the president, the Ukrainian side will set the date after the holidays, and the visit will likely take place.
What Zelenskyy said
Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the possible arrival of American representatives during the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Uzhhorod.
According to him, the visit’s schedule may be affected by U.S. international negotiations.
“After the Easter holidays, we’ll find a date, and they’ll definitely come. As far as I know from the media, they’re in talks regarding Iran,” Zelenskyy said.
What is known about the possible trip
Earlier, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, reported that the American delegation may arrive in Kyiv after April 12.
The delegation is expected to be led by Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner may be part of it.
