Exceeded the target: The Tax Service reports on revenue collected

In March, the general fund of the state budget received 169.4 billion hryvnias in taxes and fees administered by the State Tax Service. The target was met at 101.9%. This was reported by Lesya Karnaukh, acting head of the State Tax Service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to her, an additional 3.1 billion hryvnias was received by the budget. Compared to last year, this amounts to 9.3 billion hryvnias (5.8%).
She noted that the key indicators are:
- personal income tax – 33.5 billion UAH (105.0% of the plan);
- corporate income tax – 89.1 billion UAH (107.7%);
- excise tax on imported and domestically produced goods – 16.2 billion UAH (106.4%).
“Despite the positive trend, there are objective reasons affecting the performance of other indicators, particularly regarding VAT revenue. Exceeding the target allowed us to significantly improve the situation for the quarter,” Karnaukh emphasized.
According to her, over the first three months of this year, the general fund of the state budget has been fulfilled at 100.6%. UAH 341.9 billion in revenues to the general fund (UAH 2.1 billion above the plan).

According to the Ministry of Finance, in February, the general fund of Ukraine’s state budget received 222.6 billion UAH in the form of taxes, fees, and other mandatory payments.
In particular, based on February’s results, payments received from the State Tax Service amounted to 91 billion UAH.
