Ukrposhta’s first post office appeared in the capital: where it works

“Ukrposhta has launched the first post office in Kyiv, located on Independence Square next to the central office.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the company’s CEO Igor Smelyansky.
Smelyansky personally tested the new service and demonstrated the process of receiving a parcel.
The post offices will be manufactured by the Ukrainian manufacturer Modern Expo, which won the tender.
Modern Expo, which has more than 27 years of experience in creating retail solutions, will install the first 100 modules by the end of the year – 70 in Kyiv and 30 in Odesa.
Parcels can be received by PIN code or through the updated Ukrposhta 2.0 mobile app, which is already available in the App Store and Google Play.
The post offices are designed to meet the highest safety standards: they are protected from water, dust and mechanical damage, so they can withstand rain and frost. The design is modular: the system can be scaled from one to dozens of modules, and the basic configuration has two blocks of 15-20 cells each.
Next year, Ukrposhta will start scaling the network across the country. This is the next stage of the company’s digital transformation.
Over the past two years, Ukrposhta has proven that even a state-owned entity can operate at the speed of a private business. Thanks to the automated logistics hubs built during the war, the company has achieved 98% on-time delivery, a figure that exceeds the results of FedEx and USPS. And new express windows launched in branches have already reduced customer service time to a few minutes.
