Dmitry Govseev

Dmytro Oleksandrovych Govseev is a Ukrainian obstetrician-gynecologist of the highest category, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, and Honored Physician of Ukraine.

He was born on November 26, 1962, in Kyiv.

Holds a higher education degree. In 1985, he graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute with a degree in general medicine. He was awarded the title of “Honored Physician of Ukraine” in 2004.

In 1985, he began working as an obstetrician and has since risen to the position of director of the Kyiv Prenatal Center.

Career and Scientific Activity

From July 1995 to July 2000, D.O. Govseev worked at the Medical Institute of the Ukrainian Association of Traditional Medicine as a part-time assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

From September 2015 to June 2018, D.O. Govseev worked at the Bogomolets National Medical University as an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for postgraduate education.

From September 2018 to May 2021, he worked as an associate professor in the Department of Surgical Diseases, teaching courses in obstetrics and gynecology as well as pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases at the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine on a part-time basis.

From May 2021 to November 2021, he worked at the Bogomolets National Medical University as a professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Neonatology of Postgraduate Education at the Institute of Postgraduate Education on a part-time basis. In November 2021, he was selected through a competitive process for the position of Head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Neonatology of Postgraduate Education at the Institute of Postgraduate Education, where he served in this capacity until May 2023.

In May 2023, he was selected through a competitive process for the position of Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 at the Bogomolets National Medical University, where he continues to work atpresent.

Total scientific and teaching experience: 15 years.

He is the author of 208 published works, 2 monographs, 2 reference books, 21 educational and methodological works and manuals, 23 course outlines, 4 syllabi, and 13 patents for inventions.
