Girl survives night attack on Kyiv after falling from 9th floor

A girl named Veronika miraculously survived the night shelling in Kyiv on July 31, flying out of the 9th floor window of a high-rise building. This was reported byTSN, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The victim is currently in the hospital. She suffered a broken leg and a broken tooth.
According to Veronika, she was still sleeping at the time of the explosion:
“I hear an explosion and a second later I’m on the ground. I don’t know how this is possible. To fly nine floors and survive – only my leg is broken.”
The girl assumes that she and her bed were thrown out of the window by the blast wave, which could have softened her fall and saved her life.
There is currently no information about the fate of Veronika’s parents.
On the night of July 31, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with more than 300 drones and 8 missiles. The main target was Kyiv.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, one of the strikes hit a residential high-rise building, destroying the entire entrance. In total, more than 100 objects were damaged in the capital: residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, and a university.
So far, there are 8 dead and 135 injured (including 12 children). City authorities noted that this is the largest number of wounded children in one night in the capital since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
