After a few days of heat, Ukraine will experience a cold snap. A cold front is approaching the country, which will bring changes in weather conditions in a number of regions. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Today, 19 June, the temperature in Ukraine is expected to reach 28…32 degrees throughout the day. In the south of our country, the temperature will rise to 34 degrees. No precipitation is expected on this day. Only in Volyn, Chernihiv and Sumy regions are localised rains possible.
On Thursday, 20 June, a cold atmospheric front will arrive in Ukraine, so the temperature will drop to 20…25 degrees in the west, north, and in Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions. In the northern regions of Chernihiv and Sumy, the temperature may drop to 18.
The weather forecaster also warned that the drop in air temperature on Thursday would be accompanied by rains and thunderstorms. Only the south, north and part of the centre of Ukraine will remain hot that day.
On 19 June, Kyiv is expected to have dry, sunny, hot weather with temperatures of 28-30 degrees.
However, on 20 June, due to a cold atmospheric front, the capital will cool down to 20…23 degrees. There may also be short-term rain and thunderstorms.
Due to the passage of the atmospheric front on 20 June, the atmospheric pressure will decrease, and pressure and temperature surges may adversely affect meteorologists, especially people with cardiovascular diseases.
