Infrastructure damaged after Ukrainian armed forces strike on Belgorod

“Serious damage to the engineering infrastructure” was recorded as a result of a missile strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Belgorod, according to preliminary data, no one was injured. This was reported on Sunday, December 14, by the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, on his Telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

Glazing was damaged in apartments in six high-rise buildings and one private house.

Emergency and operational services are eliminating the consequences. A missile alert was issued in Belgorod and Belgorod district, Shebekino and Shebekino district, Gladkov added.

Promin thermal power plant was hit

According to Russian propaganda media, the gas turbine combined heat and power plant (CHP) Promin was hit. It provides electricity and heat to a part of the Kharkivska Gora neighborhood and other districts of Belgorod. No power outages have been reported so far. The city has a population of about 330,000.
