“Why you shouldn’t buy cheap vodka,” GPT responds
22 May 13:43
Premium Ukrainian vodka GreenDay addressed the GPT chat room with frank questions about alcoholic beverages, their quality, and cost, and the company did it on the example of its own brand, Komersant Ukrainskyi informs with reference to the release.
The question on everyone’s mind:
When bottles of vodka – for 90 UAH and others for 130-140 UAH – stand next to each other on the store shelf, a logical question arises: what is the difference?
The answer:
1. The price starts with honest alcohol.
All vodkas are made of alcohol, but the alcohol is different. And it is very important! GreenDay is only “Lux” class alcohol, which is strictly controlled by organoleptics, chemical composition and level of impurities.
And now one more question:
Is it possible to fill a bottle with “Lux” alcohol, pay excise duty, pack, deliver and sell it for 90 hryvnia, 45-70% of which may be the markup of the retail network, and still remain in the plus?
The answer is obvious. No.
Excise duty as part of the cost of the bottle
For each bottle of 0.5 liters with a strength of 40%, the state charges excise duty – about 27 hryvnia, excluding VAT.
And then a simple calculation:
- VAT 20%
- Cost of alcohol
- Water (and this is a separate preparation technology)
- Filtration (we use multilevel filtration)
- Glass bottle
- Label with protection
- Salaries, logistics, amortization
- Trade network markup, which can be as high as 45-70%
And then it becomes clear: the price of 90 hryvnias either means a loss to the manufacturer or an economy on quality.
Filtration matters
Vodka is not just alcohol and water. It is a taste. It is the absence of burning. It’s a morning without a headache.
Green Day uses a multi-level filtration system including carbon, silver and membrane filtration. This makes the beverage mild, balanced and safe for the body.
“GreenDay doesn’t choose the price – GreenDay chooses the person,” the company notes.
GreenDay is for those who value themselves.
Green Day does not save money on your health because it respects its consumers.
GreenDay is not afraid of competition because it knows that flavor, softness and quality are something that can’t be faked at a low price.
Yes, it’s not the cheapest bottle on the shelf.
But you can be sure that the manufacturer is producing a vodka you’re not ashamed of.
The company notes, “Green Day is the choice of the responsible consumer.” After all, the brand consciously does not offer a mass product, but offers quality, stability and taste, for which there is no shame and no need to make excuses.
