The Tax Service has created Google Chat Bank: what does it mean for banks

The State Tax Service of Ukraine (STS) has launched a new communication platform Google Chat Bank for convenient interaction with banks on the formation and submission of the standard audit file SAF-T UA. This was reported by the press service of the State Tax Service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The initiative arose after working meetings of the State Tax Service with representatives of the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine, which took into account the specifics of accounting in the banking sector.

What are the advantages of the new chat

Google Chat Bank will allow you to

receive up-to-date consultations and methodological materials from the State Tax Service;
quickly discuss problematic issues with tax authorities and colleagues from banking institutions
participate in testing technical solutions for SAF-T UA;
implement the SAF-T UA file taking into account the specifics of banking accounting and legal requirements;
improve the quality of communication with the State Tax Service, which will contribute to the transparency of tax procedures.

How to join Google Chat Bank?

Banks can join the chat in two ways: through the Electronic Cabinet or by mail by sending a corresponding letter to the State Tax Service.

Connecting via the Electronic cabinet

In the menu “Correspondence with the STS” of the private part of the Electronic cabinet, fill in the form for preparing correspondence:

field “STI Code” – select “99 UKRAINE; 0 STATE TAX SERVICE OF UKRAINE” from the list;
field “Type” – select “Request to join the SAF-T UA chat” from the list;
field “Subject” – select “SAF-T UA” from the list;
field “Summary” – is specified for connection to the “Google Chat Bank”.
“File” field – upload a letter (a pdf file of no more than 5 MB in size) containing user data (full name, area of work, email (email address must be in the gmail.com domain).

After filling out the form, it should be saved, signed with a qualified electronic signature and sent.

Personal invitations will be sent to the email address specified in the letter.
