Weather in Ukraine on April 1: Some areas will see highs of 17°C, while others will experience rain

On April 1, Ukraine is expected to see mostly warm spring weather. In most regions, daytime temperatures will rise to 12–17 degrees, though some areas will experience intermittent rain. It will be coolest in the west of the country and in the Carpathians, while the rest of the regions will enjoy comfortable April warmth.

What will the weather be like in Ukraine on April 1
According to the forecaster’s prediction, on Tuesday, April 1, pleasant spring weather with moderate warmth will prevail across most of Ukraine.
Natalka Didenko noted that April will arrive in Ukraine with comfortable temperatures and precipitation, which is beneficial for nature after a dry spell.
“The wonderful Prince April will come to us with pleasant, comfortable warmth, with daytime temperatures of 10… 16 degrees, and with much-needed refreshing rains that invite the debutants—green leaves—onto the stage, moisten the ground, wash away the remaining snow, and settle the dust,” the meteorologist wrote.
Where rain is forecast
According to Natalka Didenko, on April 1, intermittent rain is possible in most regions of Ukraine.
This weather will be caused by the influence of a southern cyclone.
At the same time, the meteorologist clarified that significant precipitation is not forecast only in Crimea—dry weather will prevail there.
Where it will be warmest
In most regions of Ukraine, daytime temperatures will range from 12 to 17 degrees.
These temperatures will make the first day of April quite comfortable for spring walks, trips, and daily activities.
Where it will be cooler
At the same time, a zone of cooler weather will form in the western regions.
Daytime temperatures there are expected to be 6–12 degrees, and it will be even colder in the Carpathians.
Thus, the weather contrast between the west and the rest of Ukraine will remain noticeable.
What will the weather be like in Kyiv on April 1
Rain is also forecast for the capital on April 1, but warm weather will persist.
According to Natalka Didenko, the following is expected in Kyiv:
- intermittent rain;
- air temperatures up to 15 degrees.
In other words, despite the precipitation, weather conditions in the capital will be quite mild.

The meteorologist noted that spring rains have a positive impact on nature and the environment.
They help:
- moisten the ground;
- stimulate the growth of greenery;
- reduce dust in the air;
- reduce the risk of fires caused by dry vegetation.
