Weather in Ukraine on April 10: rain, sleet, and nighttime frost

On April 10, cold weather will persist across Ukraine, with nighttime frosts, rain, and wet snow in some areas. Tonight, temperatures will mostly range from 1 to 6 degrees, though some regions may see frosts as low as 0 to -3 degrees. Forecaster Natalka Didenko and the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center have issued a warning about these conditions, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"
No significant warming is expected during the day: most regions will see temperatures of only 3–7 degrees, while in the south and southeast, temperatures will reach 7–11 degrees.
Where rain and sleet are forecast for April 10
According to Natalka Didenko’s forecast, rain is expected on April 10 in the northern and central regions and in the Kharkiv region, with wet snow in some places.
Rain is forecast for the southern part of the country, as well as in Luhansk, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
No significant precipitation is expected in the western regions.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center also reports cloudy weather with some sunny intervals, light rain, and wet snow in various regions of the country.
Where to expect frost
The most dangerous situation at night is expected due to frosts. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warns that on the night of April 10, frosts of 0…-3 degrees are possible in the air in Ukraine, as well as frosts on the ground surface.
Because of this, warnings about dangerous meteorological phenomena have been issued in some regions. According to forecasters, such a cold night may pose a risk primarily to orchards, early crops, and flowering trees.
What will the weather be like in Kyiv
Rain mixed with wet snow is forecast for Kyiv on April 10. Overnight temperatures will range from 1 to 3 degrees, and frosts down to 0–3 degrees are possible in the capital’s outskirts. During the day, temperatures will rise to only about 5 degrees.
What will the weather be like on Easter
After a cold Friday and Saturday, no significant warming is expected yet. According to Didenko’s forecast, on Sunday, April 12, Easter Sunday, it will rain periodically across almost all of Ukraine.
On Easter night, temperatures will range from 2 to 5 degrees, with a continued chance of frost, and during the day, temperatures will reach 7 to 11 degrees, and on the Left Bank, up to 8 to 14 degrees.
A more noticeable warming is forecast starting April 14–15.
