Deputy Speaker of the Polish Parliament Krzysztof Bosak said that the heads of law enforcement agencies in Poland in unofficial conversations expressed a desire to return the visa regime for Ukrainians. He wrote about this in X, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The leader of the National Movement party made the statement while commenting on the arrest of a 36-year-old Ukrainian. The detainee is suspected of unauthorized entry into the water supply facility in the Trimestia landscape park and damage to the infrastructure.
“Unofficially, police and services would like to see the return of visa-free travel with many countries, including Ukraine, but politicians from the PiS-PO-PSL-Left cartel, with the occasional participation of PL2050, ignore their voices on such issues and do not provide sufficient funds or tools to control massive, multicultural immigration from the post-Soviet space, which is a natural, Russian-speaking hunting ground for Russian military and civilian services,”
– the Polish politician wrote.
Earlier, the Polish Interior Ministry reported that it was preparing an official appeal to the Schengen countries to cancel the visa-free regime for citizens of several states. Interior Minister Czeslaw Mroczek confirmed the formation of the relevant list of countries.
According to media reports, Georgia, Armenia, Venezuela, and Colombia are under consideration. The decision is attributed to the increase in crime among migrants from these countries.
It is worth recalling that Ukrainian citizens suspected of collaborating with Russian special services were previously detained in Poland. One of them was preparing terrorist attacks, including the arson of an industrial facility.
