Diesel from the band Green Grey has died

A member of the rock band Green Grey Diesel, whose real name is Andriy Yatsenko, has died.
The news was reported on the musician’s Facebook page. In particular, on October 20, a photo of Andriy Yatsenko appeared there, with a black ribbon in the right corner. The artist died at the age of 55.
It should be noted that in 10 days, Andriy Yatsenko was supposed to give a concert in Kyiv with Green Grey, which was the beginning of the band’s all-Ukrainian tour “Under the Rain”.

Andriy Yatsenko is a Ukrainian rock musician, guitarist, composer and leader of the band Green Grey. He is one of the founders of the band, which became a cult for the Ukrainian alternative scene in the 1990s.
Yatsenko is known as the author of numerous songs and one of those who shaped the new sound of Ukrainian rock, a combination of funk, hip-hop, and industrial. He took an active part in creating a European worldview in Ukrainian music.
The cult songs “Under the Rain” and “Emigrant”, which have already been translated into Ukrainian, made Green Grey very popular.
