Former DZIDZIO band member and co-founder Lesyk Turko dies

Musician, former member and co-founder of the DZIDZIO band Lesyk Turko (Oleg Turko) has passed away.
This was reported by journalist Maria Panchyshyn on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The artist was 58 years old.
“Our Lesyk Turko has died. I don’t have the strength to write anything else yet,” the journalist and Lesyk’s friend said in a statement.
The exact cause of the musician’s death is still unknown.
In May 2024, Lesyk Turko underwent complex heart surgery, during which he had four valves and an aorta replaced. After rehabilitation, the co-founder and former member of DZIDZIO returned to the stage. Most of Turk’s concerts were aimed exclusively at supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. on December 5, 2024, Turk’s heart stopped at Natalia Buchynska’s concert in Lviv: the artist was hospitalized at St. Panteleimon’s Hospital.
