The Ukrainian Armed Forces are establishing an IT division, including the creation of over 2,000 job openings for IT specialists.
This was announced by Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Modern warfare is not just about weapons. It’s about data and the speed of decision-making, which provide a technological advantage on the battlefield. That is why we are building a systematic IT vertical within the military. Our task is to accelerate the digital transformation of the Armed Forces,” he emphasized.
According to him, this requires people who implement digital products and systems directly within the military—at all levels: from battalions to command headquarters.
Mykhailo Fedorov noted that the culture of digital solutions is already changing the army—making it faster, more flexible, and more effective. This provides an advantage on the battlefield.
The IT vertical will enable:
- implement solutions faster;
- receive high-quality feedback from the battlefield;
- scale effective tools.
“We have opened 2,000 job openings. We are looking for digital transformation leaders, project managers, data analysts, business analysts, and product specialists,” the minister stated.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense has opened positions for specialists in various fields. It is critically important to strengthen the Ministry of Defense team.
