More than 7 thousand rescuers will be on duty on New Year’s Eve

The State Emergency Service on its Facebook page reported that more than 7,000 employees will be on duty during the New Year’s Eve, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Rescuers promise that “in a matter of minutes they will come to the aid of those who need it.”
“On New Year’s Eve, more than 7,000 rescuers and more than 2,000 units of SES equipment will be on duty throughout Ukraine to help anyone who needs it in a matter of minutes. Please follow the rules, be careful and take care of yourself and your loved ones, and our guys will be on duty in a safe way. May this New Year be warm, joyful and safe for everyone!” the statement reads.
At the same time, the police reminded that Ukraine has a ban on the use of fireworks and firecrackers.
“The use and distribution of most salutes, fireworks and firecrackers is prohibited by law,” the police said.
In particular, Ukraine has a ban on :
- The use of fireworks (pyrotechnic products intended for use during entertainment events) of classes F2, F3, F4.
- Sale and/or transfer of fireworks of classes F2, F3, F4 in any way.
- Sale and/or transfer by any means of fireworks of class F1 to persons under the age of 16.
