Complaining about spam calls is now easy: we explain where and how to apply

New rules have come into force in Ukraine that allow mobile operators to block spam numbers. Now operators are obliged to respond to user complaints and block numbers that violate the rules on a massive scale. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to a post by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on Telegram.
The government’s resolution came into effect on October 2, 2025, and thousands of numbers that received advertising calls without the consent of subscribers have already been blocked.
What are spam calls?
Spam calls are unwanted advertising calls. Companies call without the user’s prior consent and try to promote goods or services.
Now, every Ukrainian can independently inform the operator about the number from which such calls come and help in the fight against spam.
