Ukrainian Embassy in Vienna closed for several days due to “mining”

On Friday, 27 September, the Ukrainian Embassy in Vienna received a report of a possible bomb threat. In this regard, consular services have been temporarily suspended. This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Austria, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“To ensure the safety of visitors, it was decided to temporarily suspend consular services, inspect the premises and assess potential threats together with the Austrian police. The safety of our citizens is always an absolute priority,” the diplomatic mission said.
The embassy has already been inspected and no explosive devices were found.
However, the Austrian police recommended refraining from visiting the building. The consular section followed the recommendations of law enforcement and will resume work on Monday, 30 September.
