Canadian Prime Minister Carney arrives in Kyiv for the first time

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived in Kyiv on Independence Day, Sunday, August 24.
He announced this on the social network X, "Komersant Ukrainian" writes.
On the morning of August 24, Carney said he had “just arrived in Kyiv.”
“On this Independence Day of Ukraine, at this critical moment in the country’s history, Canada is stepping up its support and efforts towards a just and lasting peace in Ukraine,” he wrote.
The day before, the media reported that US Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg is expected to arrive in Kyiv for a two-day visit on August 24 and 25.
