President of Lithuania has called up Mikola Azarov

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda has deprived former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov of the country’s state award.
This is reported by LRT, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The presidential decree states that Azarov was excluded from the list of awardees for defaming the name of the awardee.
It is noted that the former Ukrainian prime minister was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Grand Duke Gediminas of Lithuania in November 1998 during the visit of the then Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus to Ukraine.
At the time, Azarov was the head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
Azarov served as Prime Minister from 2010 to 2014 under pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych.
He resigned as Prime Minister during the Maidan protests.
Azarov currently resides in Russia.
