President met with businessmen: how entrepreneurs will be supported in 2025

On Thursday, February 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of Ukrainian business to discuss key issues of the economic situation in the country, as well as measures to support domestic enterprises in the face of active hostilities. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the official Telegram channel of the head of state.

“The first meeting with business this year. We talked to local producers and representatives of the local business about our country’s steps towards energy independence. Our task is to have a surplus of electricity in Ukraine. We have all the capabilities for this. And the number one priority is to end the war,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

During the meeting, Zelenskyy also emphasized the importance of strengthening domestic production and stimulating investment in the Ukrainian economy. He noted that the state is ready to provide additional tax breaks and subsidies for companies that invest in innovative technologies and create new jobs. The President also called on the business community to take an active part in the restoration of the affected regions by offering public-private partnership mechanisms for the implementation of infrastructure projects.

Particular attention was paid to energy security and the need to diversify energy sources. Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine seeks to reduce its dependence on external supplies and develop renewable energy sources. In this regard, business opportunities in the field of green energy were discussed, including the provision of state guarantees and subsidies for the implementation of such projects.

In addition, the President discussed digitalization and the introduction of modern technologies in various sectors of the economy with entrepreneurs. He emphasized that digital transformation is a key factor in increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises in the international arena. In this regard, he proposed initiatives to create innovation hubs and technology parks, as well as training and retraining programs in the field of information technology.

Zelenskyy also emphasized the need to strengthen the fight against corruption and improve the business climate in the country. He emphasized that the state will continue reforms aimed at simplifying administrative procedures, reducing bureaucratic barriers and increasing transparency in public procurement.
