Weather forecast in Ukraine for March 18: frost at night, precipitation and strong winds

on March 18, Ukraine is expected to have a changeable weather pattern with clouds and precipitation in some regions. Cold nights with frost, gusty winds and possible sleet will affect weather conditions across the country. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
In the southeastern and northern regions, there may be light sleet, while precipitation is not expected in the rest of the country. Ice cover is possible on the roads of the western regions. The wind will be mostly northwest, 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s possible in the southern, central, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
The temperature at night will be 3-8° below zero, in the Carpathians – 9-14° below zero. During the day, it is expected to be 0-5° Celsius, in the southeastern regions at night from 3° Celsius to 2° Celsius, during the day 2-7° Celsius.
In Kyiv and the region, it will be cloudy with clearings, no precipitation at night, with some light sleet in some places during the day. Northwest wind, 7-12 m/s. The temperature in the capital will be 3-5° below zero at night, 2-4° above zero during the day, and 3-8° below zero at night and 0-5° above zero during the day.
A significant avalanche hazard (level 3) is expected in the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk region due to snowfall.
