Fares for schoolchildren in Kyiv have become paid, but there are nuances

From 1 July to 31 August, public transport for schoolchildren will be charged. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" reports citing the official Telegram channel of the Kyiv City State Administration.
The institution said that from 1 July to 31 August, cadets of the city’s higher military educational institutions will also have to pay for public transport on a general basis.
However, during the holidays, the discount on travel cards (at least for students) will be 75%. The student ticket can also be used for single trips, but the student discount does not apply in this case.
You can purchase a discounted travel ticket through the Kyiv Digital app and self-service terminals.
You can also top up your student card at the ticket offices of Kyiv Metro (Vydubychi 1, Pochayna 1, Vokzalna), in the EasyPay app and on the website of the Municipal Enterprise GIOC.
