The Cabinet of Ministers has established that during mobilisation or martial law, the validity of the conclusion of the military medical commission on fitness is one year. In peacetime, such a conclusion is valid for five years. This is stated in Resolution No. 560, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

If reservists and persons liable for military service undergo a medical examination during mobilisation and/or martial law, the certificate with a conclusion on fitness for military service is valid for one year.

According to the government’s decision, persons who have not undergone a medical examination or whose decision (resolution) on fitness for military service has expired are referred to a military medical commission.

Citizens of Ukraine who, after the announcement of mobilisation, arrived at the territorial recruitment and social support centres to clarify their personal data are not sent for a medical examination.

Citizens who have clarified their personal data are summoned for a medical examination, the decision says.

on 4 May, regulations amending the Regulation on Military Medical Examination in the Armed Forces of Ukraine came into force. The key change is that the status of “limitedly fit” is cancelled, and only “fit” and “unfit” remain.

Among other things, Ukraine has changed the procedure for appealing against the decisions of the MEC – a second military medical commission will be held in another institution.

It should be noted that the updated law on mobilisation came into force on 18 May. All men aged 18-60 must update their registration details within 60 days – until 16 July inclusive.

The Ministry of Defence launched the mobile application “Reserve” for persons liable for military service, conscripts and reservists on 18 May, after the updated law on mobilisation came into force.
