PrivatBank suspends payments and cards – technical work is underway

PrivatBank has informed its customers about the scheduled maintenance. Card transactions and payments in Privat24 will be paused on February 22 from midnight to 6:30 am. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press service of PrivatBank.
“On the night of February 22, 2025, PrivatBank is carrying out scheduled routine maintenance of processing, payment systems and services to improve the quality and security of payments and operations with payment cards,” the financial institution said.
During the period of work on February 22, from 00:05 to 06:30 am, the bank will temporarily suspend payment card transactions and customer payments.
The Privat24 service for individuals will also be suspended for the duration of the scheduled maintenance.
A similar “time out” will be extended to the ATM network, self-service terminals and POS terminals of the bank, and the Terminal payment application.
“We usually perform scheduled maintenance at night, when most customers do not conduct transactions. If you plan to pay for purchases with cards, make payments or use Privat24 and the cashless payment network during the period of work, we advise you to do it in advance or after the work is completed,” PrivatBank said.
