Putin orders “multiple” reinforcement of ground forces

The combat capabilities of the Russian Army should be increased as soon as possible. This was stated by Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin at a special meeting on the state arms program for 2027-2036, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports, citing Russian media.
The dictator said that ground forces remain the “main force” in modern warfare, regardless of its scale or intensity. According to him, Russia should “urgently” strengthen its combat capabilities and develop new types of weapons.
“The Land Forces remain the dominant force in modern warfare of any scale and intensity. It is important to increase their combat capabilities in the shortest possible time, create a solid foundation for development, and ensure the development of advanced models and weapons systems that have the highest tactical and technical characteristics and modernization resource,” Putin said.
At the same time, he instructed to develop the navy, as well as to provide for measures for the production, procurement, modernization and repair of aircraft and air weapons.
According to Putin, the share of modern weapons in Russia’s nuclear triad is allegedly 95%, the highest in the world.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the aggressor country, Russia, has lost 999,200 of its soldiers in killed and wounded. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost about 1,120 occupants, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
