Putin threatens to strike at countries that allowed Ukraine to hit Russia

The president of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, said that from now on Russia can fire missiles at countries that allow their weapons to be used to strike Russian territory. In his address to the Russians, he said that Ukraine is allegedly unable to use modern Western weapons on its own without the help of foreign military experts, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

Putin continues to escalate the situation, accusing Western countries of facilitating the use of long-range weapons against Russia.

Putin claims that the launch of missiles made in the United States and the United Kingdom into Russian territory indicates that these countries are involved in the conflict. In his opinion, this turns a regional conflict into a “global confrontation.”

“We will determine the targets for destruction during further tests of our latest missile systems based on the threats to the security of the Russian Federation,” he said.

The dictator also added that Russia “has the right” to attack military facilities of those countries that allow Ukraine to use their weapons against Russia.

“We consider ourselves entitled to use our weapons against the military facilities of those countries that allow us to use our weapons against our facilities. And in case of escalation of hostilities, we will respond decisively and in a mirror image,” he said.

What do these threats mean?

Putin’s statements once again demonstrate the Kremlin’s attempts to intimidate Western countries and undermine their support for Ukraine.

Currently, many countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, are providing Kyiv with modern weapons to help it counter Russian aggression.
