Missile attack on Chernihiv: death toll rises to 18

“Psychological assistance was provided to 58 people. We have removed 1,580 tonnes of construction waste and dismantled 71% of the destroyed part of the building,”

Russia struck the Chernihiv hospital on the morning of 17 April. As of Wednesday evening, 17 people were reported dead and nearly 80 injured. According to city authorities, the main impact was on an 8-storey building in a densely populated area at the intersection of two major streets.

The National Police said that a hospital and several residential high-rise buildings were damaged.

More than 40 people were hospitalised. He said that an operational headquarters has been set up and is operating at the scene, and tents have been set up where victims can receive all the necessary information.
