Restrictions on truck traffic lifted in western Ukraine after bad weather
10 January 07:43Heavy goods vehicles have resumed travel on national roads in a number of western regions of Ukraine, which had previously been restricted due to difficult weather conditions. This was reported by the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Restrictions on trucks had been in place since January 8 in the Rivne, Volyn, Zhytomyr, and Lviv regions.
After the situation on the roads stabilized, they were lifted on the following sections:
- M-06 Kyiv – Chop on the section km 258 513 – km 432 877 in Rivne region
- M-06 Kyiv – Chop on the section km 68 340 – km 258 513 in Zhytomyr region
- M-06 Kyiv – Chop on the section 432,877– km 487,000 in Lviv region
- H-22 Ustyluh – Lutsk – Rivne: km 130,070 – km 156,733 in Rivne region
- H-22 Ustyluh – Lutsk – Rivne from km 94,376 to km 130,070 in Volyn.
Also, according to the agency, the situation with traffic on problematic sections of the H-09 highway has stabilized.
