Russian Federation attacks Kyiv with drones: debris falls in 6 districts, there are victims

On the night of November 7, Russia launched another drone attack on Kyiv. As a result of the falling debris, a fire was reported in a high-rise building in Kyiv. This was reported by Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“It was a massive attack. Enemy drones came to Kyiv both singly and in groups. The attack took place in waves, from different directions, UAVs entered the city at different altitudes – both very low and high. The air alert in the city lasted for eight hours,” the KCSA said.
As a result of the attack by Russian attack drones, debris was recorded falling in six districts of the city.
“Residential and non-residential buildings were damaged. Fires broke out and were quickly extinguished. As of now, we know about two victims, their lives are not in danger,” the KCMC said.
In Holosiivskyi district:
- there is damage to an apartment in a residential building, without fire, one person sought medical assistance;
- a fire broke out on the territory of garages and a nearby service station on a total area of 200 square meters, the fire was extinguished. 4 cars were damaged. There were no casualties.
In the Pechersk district:
- a fire broke out in a restaurant on the 33rd floor of a residential building on the area of 50 square meters, partial destruction of the building structures of the 34th technical floor. The fire was extinguished. There were no casualties.
Solomensky district:
- a fire broke out in a warehouse building on the territory of an enterprise on the area of 600 square meters. One person was injured.
- debris fell on the territory of a medical center. A fire broke out on the area of 20 square meters. The fire was extinguished. Information about the victims is being clarified.
- the debris also fell on a non-residential building. The fire has been extinguished. There were no casualties.
Podolsk district:
- A residential building caught fire. Details are being clarified.
Obolon district:
- fire on the roof of a 6-storey business center building on the area of 10 square meters. No preliminary reports of casualties.
In Darnytskyi district
- debris fell in an open area. No fire and no casualties.
- Debris fell on a residential building. No fire and no casualties.

“As a result of the coordinated work of the air defense and other components of the defense forces, more than three dozen Russian UAVs were neutralized in the airspace over Kyiv and on the outskirts of the city,” the KCMA said.
