Russia attacks Sumy region: three dead, including a child

On the night of Tuesday, June 24, Russians attacked the Verkhni Syrovatska community of Sumy region with attack drones. As a result of the attack, three people were killed. Among them is an eight-year-old child. This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov, [ komersant] reports
According to him, the Russians struck a massive blow at the residential sector when people were sleeping.
“Another difficult night for Sumy region. For Sumy district. Around midnight, the Russians massively attacked a village in the Verkhni Syrovatska community with attack UAVs. We have information about three dead. Among them is an 8-year-old boy. His body was taken out from under the rubble of a destroyed house,” said Grigorov.
According to him, a man and a woman were also killed. All the victims were from different families but lived on the same street.
“They went to sleep in their homes. But Russian drones interrupted their sleep – forever,” Grigorov wrote.
The official also said that three more people were pulled out of the rubble. One person is in serious condition. All are hospitalized.
As a result of the attack, houses were destroyed and damaged. A fire broke out after the attacks. Rescuers and medics are working at the scene.
