Russia attacks Sumy: infrastructure facilities damaged

On the night of August 27, Russian occupation forces launched a massive drone attack on Sumy. The shelling caused damage to the infrastructure. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with the help of the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration Oleg Grigorov and the channel of the acting mayor of Sumy Artem Kobzar on Telegram.

“The enemy launched a massive drone strike on the outskirts of the Sumy community. Preliminary, there were no casualties,” the statement said.

He added that the attack caused damage to infrastructure facilities. Emergency services are currently working.

At the same time, the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, also wrote that the enemy attacked the regional center with “Shaheds”.

According to him, there were no hits to residential areas.

As a reminder, explosions in Sumy were heard starting at 01:08. At the same time, the media reported that in some parts of the city there was a power outage. However, there has been no official confirmation of this.
