Russia is storming in 11 directions: General Staff names the hottest spots

Since the beginning of the day on 24 July, 149 combat engagements have taken place between the two armies at the front. Russian occupants are storming the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 11 directions. This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched four missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using six missiles, 58 air strikes (including 79 combat aircraft), carried out 4811 attacks, 144 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Vovchansk, Velyki Prokhody, Liptsi, Mali Prokhody, Vesele, Cherniaky in Kharkiv region; Tverdokhlibove, Toretsk, Verkhnekamianske, Oleksandropil, Vozdvyzhenka, Zorya, Skuchne, Novoselivka Persha, Ivanivka, Tymofiivka, Kostiantynivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Urozhayne in Donetsk region and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region.

Situation at the frontline

In theKharkiv sector, the enemy continued assault operations. Eight combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Hlyboke, Tykhove and Sotnytsia Kozachok.

In theKupyansk sector, the number of combat engagements in the last day totalled eight. Ukrainian defence forces repelled enemy assaults near three localities. The enemy concentrated its actions in the areas of Sinkivka, Stelmakhivka and Petropavlivka.

In theLiman sector, our troops repelled 15 occupants’ assault attacks in the vicinity of Makiivka, Nevske and in the Serebryansky forest. The enemy was actively using attack aircraft in the area.

In theSiverskyi sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled nine attacks near Verkhnekamianske and Ivan-Daryivka.

In theKramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 12 enemy attempts to break through our defences in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Novyi and in the direction of Novomarkove.

In theToretsk sector, the enemy concentrated its efforts near the settlements of Pivnichne and New York, where, with the support of aviation, it launched seven attacks on the positions of our troops.

In thePokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 38 attacks in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Vovche and Karlivka, where the invaders tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions, actively using attack and bombing aircraft.

In theKurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops 32 times.

In theVremivsk sector, the occupants made 13 unsuccessful attacks on our positions near Kostiantynivka and Vodiane. They attacked Vuhledar and the area of Urozhayne with unguided aerial missiles.

In theOrikhivsk sector, three combat engagements took place near Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka and Novodarivka.

In thePrydniprovskyi sector, the Russians were defeated in four attacks on Ukrainian defensive positions.

In theVolyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected. The operational situation has not changed significantly.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence and fired at Ukrainian settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Enemy losses

Our soldiers continue to inflict significant losses in equipment and manpower on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy’s offensive potential along the entire front line and in the rear.

In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1,230 casualties yesterday. Ukrainian troops also neutralised 11 tanks, 26 armoured combat vehicles, 45 artillery systems, two air defence systems, 66 operational and tactical UAVs, 79 vehicles and 11 pieces of special equipment.
