Russian missiles strike Chernihiv: there are casualties and wounded

The Russian army launched a missile strike on Chernihiv during an air raid alert. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, Komersant ukrainskyi 
reports.
“The enemy fired missiles at Chernihiv. There are casualties and wounded,”
– he wrote.
The acting mayor of Chernihiv, Oleksandr Lomako, confirmed that the occupiers had attacked the city.
“They hit a social infrastructure facility. Unfortunately, there are victims,”
– he added.
Later, Chaus clarified that the Russian army had launched three missile strikes on Chernihiv – the “arrivals” took place almost in the very centre of the city.
“The enemy launched three missile strikes on almost the centre of the city. There are dead civilians. There are many wounded,”
– he said.
According to him, rescuers and medics are working at the site of the “arrivals”. A headquarters has already been set up to provide assistance to the victims, Chaus said.
Lomako clarified that the strike hit civilian and social infrastructure in Chernihiv.
“Hospitals are working in an enhanced mode and are already receiving the first victims,”
– he stated.
