Rikky Hype: another Ukrainian clothing brand opened its first flagship on Khreshchatyk Street

Ukrainian clothing and underwear brand Rikky Hype has presented its debut offline store located on the capital’s main street, Khreshchatyk. The new retail space occupies the premise where the store “Citrus” functioned earlier, reports "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to VILLAGE.

The management of the company emphasizes that the choice of location on Khreshchatyk was a conscious decision aimed at improving the image of the brand, rather than maximizing profits. The space will fulfill several functions: traditional trade, online ordering point and a platform for corporate events.

Design solution

Architect Anastasia Tempinskaya together with the Temp Project studio team was responsible for the concept and interior design. The main task was to preserve the key characteristics of the brand: provocativeness, sexuality and boldness.

The store used unusual mirror solutions, multi-level displays, digital screens and specially processed curved metal. The central accent is the cash register made of heat-treated metal, which creates the effect of iridescent shimmers similar to gasoline stains.

The most striking element is a spacious fitting room with a dark design, which the brand representatives call one of the largest in the country. The composition is complemented by a sculpture of a female figure, symbolizing equality and the right of every woman to express herself.

Product line

Customers will be able to get acquainted with the full catalog of products: women’s and men’s collections, lines of underwear and home wear, sporting goods and swimwear. Also available is the possibility of online ordering with subsequent self-collection.

At the grand opening on August 16, the guests were presented the fall collection, offered a 10% discount on the entire assortment, and an open-air recreation area with refreshments and a festive cake of unusual shape was arranged.

Charitable initiatives

In 2024, the brand collaborated with the Turn Alive Foundation, releasing a charity series of T-shirts with the symbols of the 56th and 92nd brigades of the AFU. The collection was timed to the second anniversary of the beginning of full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine and included four T-shirt models in three colors: white, black and graphite.
