On Wednesday, October 22, from 16:00 to 20:00, power curtailment schedules for industrial consumers will be in effect in all regions of Ukraine. This is the result of new Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Ukrenergo.

“Due to a large-scale missile and drone attack on the energy infrastructure, emergency blackouts were introduced in most regions of Ukraine this morning. The situation in Sumy and Chernihiv regions remains the most difficult due to equipment damaged by the enemy. There are also attacked power facilities and de-energized consumers in other regions,” the statement said.

Emergency repair works began as soon as the security situation allowed. Power engineers are doing everything possible to bring the damaged equipment back online as soon as possible.

“Due to the consequences of the previous Russian shelling, today in all regions of Ukraine from 16:00 to 22:00, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers will be in effect,” the company emphasized.

As a reminder, due to the Russian shelling, blackout schedules are being introduced in Ukraine today. These are emergency and emergency blackouts.
