Russia attacks Kharkiv with drones: 27 injured, including children

On the morning of Monday, July 7, Russia attacked Kharkiv with Shahed drones. The Shevchenkivskyi and Slobidskyi districts of the city came under attack. The number of people injured in the morning shelling of the city has increased to 27. This was reported by the mayor of the city Igor Terekhov and the head of the regional military administration Oleg Sinegubov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Four drones hit Kharkiv. Two of them hit in Shevchenkivskyi district, two more – in Slobidskyi district.
According to the head of the regional military administration, a fire broke out on the 8th floor of a building in Shevchenkivskyi district as a result of an enemy attack, with an estimated fire area of 10 m².
“As of now, 23 people have been injured, including 3 children. There are 15 victims in Shevchenkivskyi district. In Slobodsky district – 8 victims,” he said.
So far, three victims, including one child, have been taken to hospitals.
Their condition is of moderate severity. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance.
Civilian objects and a kindergarten building were damaged in Kharkiv’s Slobidskyi district.




“All the victims are being provided with the necessary medical aid,” noted Syniehubov.
Ihor Terekhov said that in Slobidskyi district, one of the strikes hit a residential area, and in the second case a civilian object was targeted.
“In Shevchenkivske, a multi-storey building was hit. One of the floors of a residential building is on fire. A multi-storey building was also hit in Slobidskyi district. One of the strikes hit a residential area, and the second one was aimed at a civilian facility,” said Terekhov.
Terekhov added that the number of people injured in the morning shelling of the city has increased to 27. The medics are providing all necessary assistance.
