Russia attacks Lutsk with drones and missiles: consequences of the attack

On the night of July 9, Lutsk suffered one of the most powerful attacks by Russia – the city and the surrounding community were hit by drones and missiles. The mayor of Lutsk, Ihor Polishchuk, spoke about the first consequences of the shelling of Lutsk, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
“Today was the most massive enemy attack using UAVs and missiles on our city and community,” the mayor wrote.
According to Polishchuk, there are at least two known places of fire:
- a fire on the territory of one of the garage cooperatives – several garages were damaged;
- a fire on the territory of an enterprise.
“The rest of the damage is being investigated,” the mayor added.
According to preliminary information, there were no civilian casualties.
“At this moment, there is no information about the deaths as a result of the enemy attack,” emphasized Polishchuk.
The mayor also thanked the air defense forces for their work in critical conditions:
“Our honor, respect and gratitude to the air defense forces.”
Operational services continue to work at the sites of the hits.
The city authorities urge residents to remain calm, do not ignore air raid warnings and follow official information.
