Russia attacks Ukrainian Armed Forces training ground: one killed and one wounded

On the night of August 12, Russian troops fired a rocket at one of the training units of the Ukrainian Army, using cluster munitions. The attack killed one soldier and injured 11 others with varying degrees of severity. This was reported by the Land Forces, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to the command, after the “Missile Danger” signal, the personnel began to move to shelters, but some of the military came under fire.
“We know about one killed and 11 wounded of varying degrees of severity. Another 12 servicemen sought medical assistance with complaints of acute stress and acute trauma. The relevant emergency services are working at the scene. The wounded are being promptly provided with all necessary medical care,” the General Staff said.
The Land Forces expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and emphasized that they continue to strengthen training centers, training grounds and other facilities with reliable shelters, as well as implement additional security measures to protect personnel during enemy attacks.

This is not the first time that training grounds have been targeted.
on June 1, an Iskander missile hit the 239th training ground in Cherkaske, Dnipro region. As a result, 12 soldiers were killed, more than 60 were injured, and the commander of the Joint Forces, Mykhailo Drapaty, resigned.
on June 4, a training unit in Poltava region came under attack, killing two soldiers.
on June 22, a shelling of a training ground in Kherson region killed three soldiers and wounded 11 others.
Russia is systematically shelling training grounds in an attempt to strike at Ukrainian forces at the training stage.
