Russia strikes at Sumy depot: trains run on changed routes

On the night of October 31, Russians attacked Sumy region again. The enemy struck at the railway infrastructure. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Ukrzaliznytsia.

“In Sumy, the enemy attacked the passenger depot, damaging and destroying other company facilities and rolling stock. Replacement cars were promptly delivered to transport passengers of the train No. 779/780 Sumy-Kyiv. The train departed on schedule,” Ukrzaliznytsia said.

It is noted that according to preliminary information, no one was injured – all employees went to shelters in time.

In addition, last night Russia carried out a series of strikes on the residential sector and infrastructure of Sumy. As a result of a hit on a nine-story residential building, five apartments and seven balconies caught fire on the upper floors, the SES reported. Rescuers rescued 12 residents of the high-rise.

In the private sector, two outbuildings caught fire, and a blast wave damaged a one-story building with five apartments. The biggest destruction and large-scale fires occurred at the infrastructure facility. According to preliminary information, 11 people were injured, including four children.
