Russia strikes Kharkiv with 500-kilogram bombs: 25 injured

On the night of November 8, Russia attacked Kharkiv with 500-kilogram bombs. The explosions occurred at 03:30 am. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“The enemy hit Shevchenkivskyi (residential infrastructure), Saltivskyi (a high-rise building, there are wounded) districts and the central part of the city (administrative buildings and residential buildings were damaged).

In Saltivka, a 12-storey residential building was hit by an enemy combat vehicle. The entrance of the building from the 1st to the 3rd floor was partially destroyed. The surrounding buildings were damaged.

As of 6 a.m., 25 people were wounded, five of them were hospitalized, their condition is moderate to light. The youngest injured boy is 3 months old.

Five people were hospitalized – four women and one civilian man. Also, 30 people were evacuated, including 4 children.

In the city center, the occupiers hit two addresses. Historical buildings, public places, residential buildings, administrative buildings were damaged.

Another hit near a residential area also in the central part of the city.

At least 6 multi-storey buildings, shops, trade pavilions, cars, and metro station exits were damaged.

There were no casualties.

“Such strikes with 500-kilogram bombs are targeted terror of the enemy,” noted Syniehubov.

Medics, rescuers, utilities are working at the site of the strikes, and the Rapid Response Team is already sewing up windows in the buildings damaged by the shock wave.
