Russia strikes Naftogaz facilities: what are the consequences?

On the night of February 8, the Russian army again struck targets belonging to the Naftogaz group in the Poltava region.
This was reported by Serhiy Koretsky, chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to him, units of the State Emergency Service are currently working at the site of the attack.
“Emergency crews, technical services, and all relevant units are working intensively to eliminate the consequences of the attack,” Koretsky said.
He added that this is the 19th targeted attack on the group’s facilities since the beginning of the year.
“Despite the constant threat, we are focused on the safety of our employees and the restoration of infrastructure to keep the power system stable,” Koretsky concluded.
