Russia hits Kryvyi Rih with a missile: hospital damaged

Late in the evening of December 18, Russia attacked Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the missile attack, the central collectors, electricity, and zip lines were cut off. This was reported by the head of the city’s military administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Vilkul reported the first explosion at about 23:40. At the same time, he warned about the next “exits”.
At 2 a.m., the head of the city’s Defense Council announced the “opening of a headquarters to help people (construction materials, utility crews, applications for material assistance from the city, etc.), which will be deployed in the nearest school across the street.”
“Thank God, everyone is alive. The central collectors, electricity and zip lines have been cut off. There is a lot of damage in high-rise buildings. The hospital was damaged. The relief center is working. Water, power, transportation and utility workers are eliminating the consequences,” Vilkul added.
In the morning, Vilkul clarified that apartment buildings, a hospital, a school, 10 cars, business facilities were damaged, central collectors, power lines, and trolleybuses were interrupted. One of the boiler houses was shut down as a result of the strike.
“The works were carried out all night. We have already managed to restore traffic and repair the trolleybuses. The works are ongoing,” he noted.
There were no attacks in Kryvyi Rih district.
In Nikopol district, the enemy attacked Nikopol and Marhanets community with heavy artillery, Grad multiple rocket launchers and kamikaze drones. Infrastructure, an enterprise, a private house, a garage, and a truck were damaged.
Also at night, the enemy attacked Ukraine, including the Dnipropetrovs’k region, with attack UAVs. Air defense systems were working – 3 enemy UAVs were shot down.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that on the night of December 19, Russia attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Crimea and Rostov region and an X-59/69 guided missile from the airspace of the Kursk region. The enemy also attacked with 85 Shahed strike UAVs and other types of drones from Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, and Orel.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces. As of 08:30, 45 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed downed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv regions. As a result of active counteraction by the Defense Forces, 40 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences).
As of 08:30, it is known that private, apartment buildings and municipal property in Sumy and Dnipropetrovs’k regions were damaged as a result of a missile strike. There were no casualties or injuries. No UAV hits were recorded, and there was no information on damage or casualties.
