Russia hits a five-story building in Kryvyi Rih with a missile: 8 injured

Russia launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, hitting a five-story building. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovs’k Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak in his telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“Apartments from the first to the fifth floors of one of the entrances were destroyed in a high-rise building in Kryvyi Rih… Four victims are currently known. One person is hospitalized. The rest were treated on the spot,” he wrote.

Lysak noted that there may be people under the rubble. Later he clarified that six people were injured, including two children.

“A 10-year-old girl was treated on the spot. An 11-year-old boy was hospitalized in a moderate condition,” he said.

The head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that Russia had hit the city with ballistic missiles from Crimea. The number of casualties increased to eight.

Women aged 58 and 75 were also injured.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the Russian attack.

He also said that there are currently 7 victims, including two children. According to him, Ukraine needs weapons for defense and strong support for peace to stop Putin’s terror.

Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the threat of ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea and a missile to Kryvyi Rih.
