Russia attacked Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa overnight: what is known

On the night of February 12, Russia launched another massive attack on major Ukrainian cities, using ballistic missiles and strike drones. Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa were targeted. Damage to infrastructure and residential areas has been reported, and there are casualties, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Kyiv: a private house was hit and debris fell in several areas
An air raid alert was declared in the capital at 2:23 a.m. due to the threat of ballistic weapons. This was followed by a series of powerful explosions in the city.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that the enemy was targeting infrastructure facilities. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, confirmed that debris had fallen in several areas of the capital.
In the Darnytskyi district, a private residential building was hit. In the Holosiivskyi and Desnianskyi districts, non-residential buildings were damaged. Debris from downed missiles was also found near high-rise buildings. According to preliminary data, large-scale fires in these locations were avoided.
Two people are known to have been injured. Medical personnel provided them with the necessary assistance.
Dnipro: an infant and a 4-year-old child injured
Around 3 a.m., a series of explosions were recorded in Dnipro. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, said that the city had been attacked by the enemy and that the extent of the damage was being assessed.
Emergency services, rescuers, and law enforcement officers are working at the sites of the strikes.
An infant and a 4-year-old girl were injured in the attack. The children are receiving all necessary medical care. Information about other victims is being clarified.






Enemy UAVs also struck the Synelnykivskyi district – the communities of Rozdorska and Vasylkivska. Infrastructure and a kindergarten were damaged there.
In the Nikopol district, the district center, Chervonohryhorivska, and Pokrovska communities were affected. The enemy targeted them with artillery and FPV drones.





Odesa: infrastructure and business center damaged
Odesa and the Odesa region were also under intense attack from kamikaze drones during the night.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kipper, and the head of the city military administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported damage to infrastructure and a business center building.
One casualty has been reported so far. He is receiving medical assistance. State Emergency Service rescuers are working on site to eliminate the consequences of the strikes and record the damage.
